Claud Butler Restoration

This is my latest project which I have just completed today.

This was a customer request. His own Claud Butler 'Dalesman" frame finished in black with red-painted head-tube and red section on seat tube, plus all the transfer details to match.

The bike was stripped down and resprayed and is now ready to go back on the road.

If you have an old trusted bike that is need of a respray then get in touch by email or phone

Carlton Hand built 531 tubing bicycle frame

This is the most recent bike I have restored a Carlton 531 Tubing racing frame hand built in 1977.

The frame is 21 1/2 inch and has been re-sprayed in Sunshine Yellow it has some very nice detailing on the lugs and front forks. It is fitted with a Cincelli stem and handle bars and some very rare Campagnolo brake levers.

The bike was sold partially built allowing the new buyer to complete the bike to his own spec.

I have several other top quality racing frames available for restoration to order. Get in touch if you would like a custom built bike or your current bike is in need of an overhaul.

Claud Butler Mens Racing Bike

This is a fine example of a Claud Butler mens racing bike manufactured circa 1981.

This bike was built by The Holdsworthy Company who bought Claud Butler's business in 1957 and continued to build bikes until 1987.

The bike has been restored to its original specification with 12 speed Shimano 600 gears and Shimano chainset.

The frame is a 24 inch Reynolds 531 steel tubing and forks and is finished in a lovely Celeste blue.

It is fitted with Weinmann Centre pull brakes 750 rear and 610 front complete with new cables and blocks. The brake levers are original Weinmann quick release.

The wheels are 27 x 1&1/4 quick release fitted with new tyres and inner tubes. The bike has a new seat pin and saddle.
