This is a fine example of a Claud Butler mens racing bike manufactured circa 1981.
This bike was built by The Holdsworthy Company who bought Claud Butler's business in 1957 and continued to build bikes until 1987.
The bike has been restored to its original specification with 12 speed Shimano 600 gears and Shimano chainset.
The frame is a 24 inch Reynolds 531 steel tubing and forks and is finished in a lovely Celeste blue.
It is fitted with Weinmann Centre pull brakes 750 rear and 610 front complete with new cables and blocks. The brake levers are original Weinmann quick release.
The wheels are 27 x 1&1/4 quick release fitted with new tyres and inner tubes. The bike has a new seat pin and saddle.
