Refurbished Weinmann brakes

Here is a pair of recently acquired Weinmann Centre pull brakes.

We bought the brakes off Ebay for the tidy sum of £5.00 plus post and package, giving  us a total of £9.00.

We then spent the best part of 3 hours on stripping them down and giving them a thorough clean and polish after which they were re-assembled. We now have a beautiful pair of original brakes ready for a new home on one of our bikes. They may well go on the Viking Hosteller 1963 model which is waiting to go for shot blasting.
