This was a bike I restored a couple of years ago. This would be perfect for Eroica 2015 .
Today I have been with David in his garage in Shropshire helping him to organise his growing collection of bicycles. David and his partner Pauline (my mother) have been restoring bicycles for the past 3 years.
They have a garage full of
bikes and they are now under pressure to sell some of them before they can embark
on buying any new ones.
The Peugeot Elite racer in
the photo below is from about 1986. I have been riding it since last July
and returned it in early April for some work on the bottom bracket. The job is
now complete and the search is on for a new owner. Someone is going to get a
lovely classic racing bike.
